Insider's Tip on the Kitchen Aid 5 Speed Classic Plus Hand Mixer - By: Kayla Marie, Posted on: 2007-08-27
Nothing has brought me more joy recently than my Kitchen Aid 5 Speed Classic Plus Hand Mixer. I own the white version of this handy little kitchen helper than simply can't be beat. It is a sleek kitchen work horse! The KitchenAid 5 Speed Classic Plus Hand Mixer has been such a great kitchen tool for me. My hand mixer was a gift to me from my grandma one Christmas. I would have never imagined how useful my mixer would have been, and how much I would use it on a regular basis. It didn't take me long to get spoiled with my new hand mixer. Instead of using the big stand mixer for a batch of cookies, I now use my Classic Hand Mixer. Same thing if I want to whip a small batch of fresh cream or scramble up an omelet casserole. My Kitchen Aid hand mixer has two beater arms which you insert into the base of the mixer. I like the way the beater snaps easily into place with a gentle nudge and then a little click lets you know they are securely locked into place. When you are done with your mixing chores, with only the push of a button, the mixer arms can be removed for easy cleaning. With just a little shopping around, you can generally find your very own Kitchen Aid hand mixer for about $50. Yes, there are a lot of Kitchen Aid mixer varieties out there but there's only one classic and it will soon be the go to appliance in your kitchen. Ok, so there are other high tech mixers out there too, but they typically come with a high price too. Not that they don't have their place in the kitchen, they do. But this classic Kitchen Aid can really stand up to the majority of kitchen baking jobs. Got a big batch of cookies to make or a double batch of brownies, then maybe you would prefer to use your stand mixer. It really does work well for those bigger jobs. Be smart in the kitchen and choose the right appliance for the job. If you're baking the bigger batches, you have to go with a stand mixer. Don't be afraid! That bad boy appliance is a magician in the kitchen. If you haven't made the decision to have a second mixer in your kitchen, then maybe it is time that you splurge on yourself and spend the $50 and get yourself a Kitchen Aid Hand Mixer. It is the perfect compliment to your stand mixer. It handles so easily, powering gently through the batter mixes, and the open curved design of the beaters makes clean up a cinch. Kitchen Aid did it right when they designed the Classic Kitchen Aide Hand Mixer. My grandma got it right! It is must have in your kitchen.
