The unspoilt country and numerous historic sites make a visit worthwhile. Experiencing these historic sites help visitors and tourists to gain a sense for the real Cyprus and the history that gives it its unique charm. Becoming a full member of the EU in May 2004 has meant that Cyprus has continued to become a renowned alternative of island to live on. The level of crime is statistically very low ensuring it is one of the safest, crime free countries in Europe. Cyprus is not simply the faultless holiday site because of this and the balmy and healthy clime, but also a pastoral haven to live. With its warm Mediterranean clime and high standard of comfort, Cyprus is definitely becoming the region to buy property for holidays, retirement or investment.
