No matter how good or bad your credit is I am more concerned about helping you accomplish your goals than seeing what you look like on paper. How can an impersonal bank FICO score say everything about you? You're so much more! So let's prove it in my world, California real estate!

One more thing about your credit score: Is it always a big deal when you increase or decrease your credit score? Do you think the bank cares more if you have a higher credit score at a 680 fico or a lower score at a 620 fico? If the cutoff for a better California loan program is 620 then 620 is the only score that matters. If your fico score is higher than the minimum fico required for the better loan that's all you need. It doesn't matter if it's one, two or sixty points higher than that. For example let's say in high jumping that the bar is raised 5 feet above the ground and the high jumper leaps and clears the bar by a foot and a half. He is only credited for jumping the 5 feet. Now exchange the 5 feet for the 620 fico. If you clear the fico score required for a bank loan program by sixty points the extra fico points do not mean anything. You could have had your credit score checked a dozen times and still had qualified for the loan. When banks make their loan programs they only care that you make it over the bar by passing the minimum fico score required so don't be so paranoid about running a few credit checks. Chances are it will not make a difference if you have a great credit score or if your credit score is in the middle of a certain category of borrowers to have your fico score deducted a few points because you will still likely be in the same qualification bracket.
