Major Decisions:
Where to Buy Land?
What areas did you grow up in? What area do you know best? What really fascinates you? The beach, the mountains, the dessert, the city, what else? California is a big state, it's got everything! As a California realtor, I am thinking about the investment primarily, so I’ll give some of my angles on choosing a CA land location. For starters, population is a very important factor in determining where to buy, as are other demographic trends moving up or down. Other factors include, what plans do the city council have for building? What roads does the transportation department plan on installing? How many Californians are leaving the state and how many are coming in? How long have the lands for sale in California been on the market in a given area? For the best advice you can request to hire me below.
Land Costs:
Most people who come to me to buy land in California as an investment want to spend less than $100,000 and if they want to build it's sometimes less than $300,000. Whether you have $25,000 or $1,000,000 you want to spend wisely. The cost for hiring me is effective since I spend money on tools to locate land quickly. If you want a plan to build a house in California the land should cost around 25-50% of the finished house value in a seller’s market and 25-35% of the finished house value in a buyer’s market. Labor should cost around 30%, materials 30-40%, tax and government fees 15-20%. Contact me below to get started today.
